SO MUCH MORE THAN JUST A STYLUS

The PL2 is engineered for digital minimalists who demand a seamless writing workflow. Traditional EMR styluses force you to constantly buy fragile plastic nib replacements and deal with dead batteries. We changed the game. By pairing a permanent, diamond-grade ceramic nib with battery-free EMR technology, we built a tool that offers eternal sharpness and paper-like friction.

THE END OF FRANTIC NIB REPLACEMENTS

Traditional digital pens rely on fragile plastic nibs that wear down, blunt, and scratch within weeks—forcing you into an endless, expensive cycle of buying replacements. We engineered a better way.

The PL2 features a permanent, non-replaceable ceramic nib that offers exceptional wear resistance without losing its sharp, pixel-perfect edge. It delivers a premium, consistent paper-like friction day after day. One stylus, one tip, zero maintenance—saving you time, frustration, and money in the long run.

Excellent EMR stylus with great feel and features

The PenPlusOne PL2 EMR Stylus has been a great addition to my Supernote. The 4096 pressure sensitivity feels very natural and responsive, making writing and note-taking smooth and accurate. Palm rejection works perfectly, so I can rest my hand on the screen without any issues.

Excellent backup/replacement pen for your Supernote tablet.

I am always looking for affordable, good quality pens for my Supernote. The name brands are great quality but are too expensive. I saw this and immediately ordered it as a backup pen if my original one is lost or damaged. It is not costly and provides a decent value for all its features. It is a hefty pen with some weight to it and is made of good materials that allow it write smoothly on your tablet. They also give you 5 nib caps which work to prevent scratching up your tablets surface from writing too hard. I have no issues with mine and it is 100% compatible with my Supernote. The eraser feature is a nice touch and makes fixing mistakes that much easier. Overall I really like this pen and would definitely order another one if available.

Excellent Pen

This is an excellent stylus pen for use with Supernote, Quaderno and iFLYTEK devices. It boasts a sensitive stroke capability that detects of light strokes and eliminates the need for heavy pressure while in use. It is lightweight and feels great in the hand. There’s palm rejection that increases ease of use by allowing the palm to rest freely. There is a convenient press to-advance nib release that extends the ceramic nib with just a touch of- super simple to use, and there’s also a permanently attached clip that can be used to securely clip onto pockets, notebooks, or device cases for easy portability. This pen also includes 5 extra caps to help protect screens, making this a great value for the money. I love the quality and great design of this pen!

This Is a Really Comfortable Stylus Pen

Wow! This pen looks just like an office pen! It is lightweight and comfortable to hold. I love the color! This pen is retractable! An older electronic stylus pen I had wasn’t. I like this much better! It protects the nib and doesn’t catch on things. I like that this pen comes with six nibs! The click-top is easy to use and the clip is sturdy.

I plan to add an update if anything significantly changes for this item. Until then, it’s safe to assume everything is still consistent with this review.

Reliable, Lightweight Pen That Surprised Me

I bought this stylus to use for digital notes and sketches. The pressure sensitivity feels excellent, giving me control over line thickness whether I am sketching lightly or writing notes with more force. I noticed right away how natural it feels against the screen, like writing on paper but smoother. The ceramic nib glides cleanly without skipping, which makes it fun to use for long note sessions.

It works fine with my Kindle Scribe, which was a pleasant surprise since that is not listed in the description. The tilt sensitivity and palm rejection both function very well on that device, letting me rest my hand comfortably while I write. However, it did not work with my Samsung tablet, so I would recommend checking device compatibility if you plan to switch between brands. The photo I added shows how the pen fits next to the Scribe, including the non-removable clip that actually makes it easy to keep attached to my cover.

I will say the press-to-extend nib mechanism took me a minute to figure out because I pressed the eraser side first and nothing happened. Once I realized the right way, I had a small laugh and moved on. The eraser also works instantly, which makes it easier to fix mistakes without diving into menus. The pen feels balanced and light, with a soft matte finish that does not slide in my fingers like some metal ones do.

Overall, this is a high quality stylus that feels dependable and will likely stay in my daily setup. The extra nib caps are a nice touch, even though I suspect it will be a long time before I wear down the ceramic tip. If you use a Kindle Scribe or a similar EMR notebook, this pen delivers a writing experience that feels polished and natural.

Works with my PocketBook InkPad Eo, but with some quirks & serviceability concerns. Made in China.

Even though it’s not formally listed as compatible, I got this pen for my PocketBook InkPad Eo & it’s perfectly compatible & working well.

There was no setup required & my InkPad immediately recognized the PL2. I initially tested writing with the (non-removable) ceramic nib only & while it worked nicely, it didn’t seem to be pressure sensitive. I popped on one of the nib caps & the pressure sensitivity totally registered. It felt nicer to write with the cap on too. Very smooth with no skipping or jittering. The eraser end worked properly, too.

The pen generally feels good in hand. The barrel is on the thicker side (much thicker than an Apple pencil) but doesn’t feel too bulky. It’s just smooth, rigid plastic & pale blue in color...nothing much to it. It’s not a problem, but there’s also nothing very “premium” feeling about it.

The clicker works well. Retracts & extends the nib just like a normal clicker pen. One BIG issue with it though, is that the first time that I retracted the nib after writing with it for a good while, well, the nib cap was still on & on retraction it popped off & flew to the floor. Fortunately, I recently swept & I was able to find the nib cap fairly easily. I’ll say that was sheer luck, though. These caps are TINY..like half of a grain of rice tiny. I’m not sure how often they’ll pop off or how long this set of 5 will last with popping off being a factor, but I sure hope I can keep a hold of them because I’m unable to find replacement caps from either the seller or from the pen brand’s website.

The price isn’t listed right now, but when I ordered it, it was $65. I think that’s real pricey for what you get. There are premium name brand stylus with more features, better compatibility with readily available replacement parts for nearly 1/2 the price. While I do like the pen, it’s a very pricey one that isn’t easily serviceable when things start getting lost or wearing down on it. Made in China.

Retractable Precision

I’ve been using this stylus with my tablet for a bit now, and honestly, the writing experience is incredible. The pressure sensitivity is spot on, but what really stands out is how fine the tip is. As someone who handles a lot of detail-oriented work with my 3D printing and jewelry business, I really appreciate that it feels exactly like writing with a high-quality extra-fine pen rather than a bulky stylus.

The retractable design is a total lifesaver for me. I’m constantly tossing my tablet into my bag to head out, and with my previous pens, I always had to worry about snapping the nib or finding a specific case to keep it safe. Being able to just click it shut and go is a huge plus for my peace of mind.

I did run into a bit of a snag with the included tip covers, though. They are meant to protect your screen if you don't use a protector, but they don't stay secured at all. Every time you retract the pen, the cover just pops right off. You’re basically forced to choose between leaving the tip exposed or ditching the covers entirely. My best advice is to just make sure you have a solid screen protector on your device so you don't have to worry about it.
The only other real downside is the eraser on the end. It’s pretty hit-or-miss and feels a bit spotty when you’re trying to clean up a mistake. I usually find it’s much faster to just use the undo button or the on-screen eraser tool instead of relying on the stylus’s physical eraser. Even with those quirks, the precision of the actual pen tip makes it a great tool to have in my kit.

A real third-party Supernote pen with ceramic nib AND eraser!

I ordered this for my wife, and she loves it. She has both the Supernote Nomad and Manta. She was frustrated with the original pen she ordered (their HOM2). So she bought a customized body of a Pilot G2 (which she used for other things so was familiar with), in order to convert it into a ceramic-nib EMR pen. That's been her go-to pen.

Until now...

She's always talking about how the perfect Supernote pen would be clickable (to protect the nib), have the "hook" or whatever it's called to keep it steady on the pen loop, have a built-in eraser, and a programmable button.

Now, this one doesn't have the button... but if the seller ever made one with it, she'd be one of the first to buy it.

Here's the thing. Plenty of EMR pens compatible with Supernote devices have all those features, including the button. But they're missing the most vital feature... the ceramic nib.

That's missing on every non-customized third-party EMR pen because most devices aren't designed to handle ceramic nibs. But those ceramic nibs never need to be replaced. And because they don't wear down, you get pinpoint precision that never changes as the nib gets duller. She has plastic nib EMR pens. And she hates the way it feels (and how they feel on her reMarkable too, though ceramic isn't an option there).

So the moment I saw a third-party EMR pen specifically mentioning the Supernote and ceramic nibs, I ordered it for her to test out. And she loves it. Even the custom one got downgraded to the Nomad that she uses less often (and her official HOM2 is in a drawer as a backup). Her Manta is her day-to-day device, and that's where this pen now resides... until someone can do the same with a button at least.

She said it writes just like the HOM2 and custom pen w/ a Supernote refill nib. Just as precise once it was calibrated. She was downright giddy when she saw it. Bring us a button in the next model, and you'll have a fan in her for life!

Side note: If you're concerned about the fact these come with plastic nib protectors, don't be. I couldn't understand why a pen advertised for Supernotes would have that because they completely defeat the purpose of a ceramic nib (extreme precision and never needing replacements). But they're just included for non-Supernote users who order it because it's an EMR pen. The instructions clarify that Supernotes should use the ceramic nib itself. So if you have one of them (with its FeelWrite film), you don't need the nib caps at all. If you don't have a Supernote though, sorry. Ceramic nibs aren't made for most screens so they could damage yours without the cap

Third party pen that is compatible with many pen supported devices

This pen stylus supports many compatible devices including Samsung Galaxy Notes and other pen supported phones, Wacom displays, the Fujitsu family of pen computers, basically just about most of the generic pen supported devices. This item is packaged in a small white cardboard box with black line drawing and printing, including the line drawing of the pen itself, and is affixed with a barcode product identification sticker. The pen is pressure sensitive, meaning that the harder you press, it makes a difference on the application supporting this pressure sensitivity such as making a brush broader or some other implementation (change to darker shade?). The pen is well constructed and feels durable in the hand although it is not likely recommended for one to abuse it by throwing it around. With sensitive electronics, that's never a good idea. The pen will last since it will likely break due to abuse rather than wear and tear. A great third party value for the money than some OEM stylus/pen, you will be glad you got this instead. 3rd party pen support 5 stars!

Pretty Good Pen

I am giving the PenPlusOne PL2 EMR Stylus Pen for Supernote a solid 4 out of 5 stars. Overall it is a pretty good stylus and has a lot going for it especially considering how well it performs with the Supernote ecosystem.

The writing experience is smooth and consistent. The pen tracks accurately with no noticeable lag and pressure sensitivity feels natural which makes it comfortable for long note taking sessions. It does a good job mimicking the feel of a real pen on paper which is one of the most important features for anyone using a Supernote for work planning or journaling. Lines come out clean and controlled and handwriting looks neat and intentional rather than jittery or uneven.

The build quality is also quite nice. It feels solid in the hand without being too heavy and the balance is comfortable. The grip area makes it easy to hold for extended periods without causing hand fatigue. It looks clean and professional and does not feel like a cheap accessory. The tip feels durable and works well with the Supernote screen without scratching or slipping.

Another positive is that it works seamlessly right out of the box. There was no setup required and it connected immediately which is always appreciated. It performs reliably and has been consistent across different note types and writing styles. It is also convenient to have a compatible EMR stylus option that is not overly complicated or filled with unnecessary features.

The reason I am not giving it a full five stars is mainly due to value and refinement. While it performs well it does not feel significantly better than other EMR stylus options in this category. The design while functional could be slightly more premium or ergonomic for the price point. A few small refinements in feel or included extras could elevate it from good to excellent.

That said this is still a very solid stylus and one I would recommend to Supernote users who want a dependable writing tool that gets the job done. It performs well looks good and feels comfortable to use. I did receive this product for free and my opinion is based on real world use and overall writing experience.

Great Pen with Eraser for Supernote

So I love push pens as they don’t require me to remember to replace the cap when I’m done using them.

This pen comes in a nice box with replacement tips and instructions as shown. I took a picture with my current pen which is the same size and design. Really the only difference I can see is that this one has a nice blue color.

I have a Supernote device. Writing with this pen on it felt great. Very smooth writing.

I’ve never had a eink pen with an eraser so I was eager to try that. As you can see from the video, it does a pretty good job of erasing but there is a slight delay. It’s certainly not as natural as a regular eraser but I love having the option now to turn my pen upside down to erase things. It’s much less clunky than going into the toolbar on the screen and clicking on the eraser option.

Overall this is a nice upgrade from the Supernote pen since it comes with an eraser and has a very good feel along with writing well.

Good substitute for standard pen, with eraser

- Life saver when you need to hold the device while writing and only have one hand available (cant rely on gestures for erasing).
- the eraser feels nice on Nomad and Manta, not overly frictional
- lighter than HOM2 and heavier than the standard push pen. For that reason, it makes louder noise than the standard pen while writing.
- the click sound is quite similar to the standard pen’s
- POM tip is harder than expected and feels surprisingly nice on the supernote (Regular tips on supernote are usually too frictional for my taste)
- but you wouldn’t want to take the POM tip on and off. It’s too small and easy to lose.
- more features at a lower price compared to the standard push pen. If you’re not going for lightness or color, I would say this is a good substitute.

Decent 3rd Party Stylus

I've been using this stylus with my AiPaper mini and, so far, I like the size of it compared to the stock stylus. It's been good for note taking and quick scribbles. No damage to the screen, which is always a worry about third-party styluses. It's much more comfortable to hold.

An acceptable replacement

Decent build quality and construction. I love the retractable feature. The pen tip is a bit too scratchy for me as I have gotten used to modern styluses. It does come with tiny nib caps which can make the writing smoother.

All in all a decent well made digital pen and at half the cost of the branded stylus, well worth the purchase. Another option for about 50% more are the Japanese made Qauderno styluses with a more familiar tip.

perfect, exactly what I was looking for!

It feels comfortable and well-balanced in hand, making it great for note-taking and writing for longer periods without fatigue. The pressure sensitivity is very responsive and natural, and the palm rejection works flawlessly, which makes the whole experience feel smooth and intuitive. I also love the press-to-extend nib and the digital eraser feature, they’re suuuuuuper convenient and save time when switching between writing and correcting. The included extra nib caps are a nice bonus, and overall it feels like a high-quality, reliable stylus that works perfectly with my Supernote. Definitely a great accessory and great value for everyday use. ✍️😊
